What we collect
- Account info — name and email, from Google sign-in or the email address you use for a magic link.
- Style profile — anything you choose to share during onboarding: sizing and body measurements, style preferences, budget ranges, and favorite retailers. All of this is optional and editable anytime.
- Price Watch data — items you track, their price history, and any price alerts you set.
- Usage signals — likes, dislikes, saves, and collections, used to improve what we show you.
- Location — only if you choose to set one, used for things like weather-aware suggestions. It's separate from any shipping address and you can change or remove it anytime.
How we use it
To personalize what you see, track prices and send alerts you've asked for, and improve recommendations over time. As we build reporting features, we may also aggregate fully anonymized trend data (e.g. "interest in X category rose Y% this month") to share with brands and retailers as a separate product — this is never individual-level data, and it never influences what's recommended to you or any other user.
Our promise on recommendations
In order to keep this app free, we monetize transactions and services while maintaining a consumer-first recommendation system. When a link you click leads to a purchase, we may earn a referral commission from that retailer. This never affects which products or retailers are shown to you or how they're ranked — we don't accept payment for placement, ever.
Who we share it with
- Affiliate networks (currently Impact, CJ, and Rakuten) — only what's needed to track a referral when you click through to a retailer.
- Service providers that run the App itself — our authentication provider (Google), our email provider (Resend), and our hosting and database providers.
- We do not sell your individual data to third parties for marketing purposes. [Placeholder — needs legal review on whether aggregate trend-report sales count as a "sale" under CCPA and how that's disclosed.]
Your rights
You can view, edit, or delete your style profile at any time from your account. [Placeholder — California residents' CCPA rights (access, deletion, opt-out of sale) need to be spelled out here with real legal input once the trend-report product exists.]
Data security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, and we'll notify you if we become aware of a breach affecting your data.
Children's privacy
The App isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this policy
We'll post updates here with a new "last updated" date as the App evolves.
